New Treasury Enhancements Coming April 22, 2025

With the ever-changing landscape of technology, and the ever-prevalent presence of fraud, securing your account information has never been more important.  Unified Identity Service (UIS) replaces the basic multi-factor authentication service used today and adopts industry-standard authentication methods designed to protect against varying types of online account takeover threats.

FAQs

1. Why is Pegasus Bank making this change?
This upgrade will replace the current multi-factor authentication service with more robust security upgrades making it difficult for phishing and other attack schemes to be possible. This is necessary in order for Treasury Management to plan for exciting future functionality, such as Plaid and other products.

2. What must I do to prepare for this change?
Watch for the email from [email protected] on April 22, 2025. The link in the email will only be valid for 7 days. Please note, once you click the link, you will have 45 minutes to complete the process. After enrollment completion, TMS “Login ID” will be replaced with “Username”.

3Will I still need to use my token or one-time passcode when initiating ACH or Wire payments?
Yes. There are no changes to the in-session prompts. You will still be required to enter your token + 4-PIN or one-time passcode.

4. Can I use my current TMS Login for my new Username?
It is possible that you will be able to use your existing Login ID as your Username; however, the Username must be unique across the entire Pegasus Bank Treasury Management platform. In some cases, a user will need to choose a new Username. Using a combination of your existing Login ID and Treasury Company ID or adding a number will help keep the user ID unique and familiar at the same time. For example, if jbrown one is taken, try jbrown1.

5. What are the requirements for creating a new username?
  • Must be between 4 and 64 characters in length.
  • Can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), dashes (-), underscores (_), apostrophes ('), or periods (.)
  • Can begin or end with non-alphanumeric characters except periods (.) and spaces.
  • Cannot contain more than one period (.), accents, accented letters, ampersand (&), equal signs (=), brackets (), plus signs (+), at signs (@), or commas (,)
6. What are the requirements for creating a new password?
Passwords must be between 8 and 64 characters in length. Passwords must not match or contain your username and must not begin or end with a space.

7. Will this change my experience with the app?
Yes, on April 22, 2025, the current native app will sunset, and you will need to migrate to the new web-based mobile experience. If you have previously bookmarked the new mobile experience, the three-part login will update to a two-part login to reflect the migration. After creating your Username, you will use your newly-created Username and password to login on the App. Biometrics (fingerprint and Face ID) will be available the morning of the migration.

8. For QuickBooks users only: Will this affect my QuickBooks or third-party connections?
Yes. For DirectConnect (desktop), you will need to connect with your QuickBooks Customer ID (provided by Pegasus Bank) and your newly-created Username.
  • To receive your Customer ID, please reach out to the Pegasus Bank Treasury Management team at 214-353-3085.
  • For QuickBooks online (QBO), the login will reflect the new login landing page. You will need to use your new Username and password.
  • Note: QuickBooks may not be available the morning of migration. If unavailable, please try after 2 p.m. CT.

9. For multiple Login ID users only: What do I do if I have multiple TMS Login IDs for one or more companies?
During migration, each user profile will receive an email to enroll. The enrollment email will not specify which company it is associated with. If the same email address is tied to more than one Login ID, whether a different company or the same company, the user will receive multiple emails to complete enrollment. Users can, but are not required to link their associated companies to one Username.

If you are a user for multiple companies, follow the steps below:
  • The first enrollment email will take you through the steps outlined above.
  • For subsequent emails, as a user with access to multiple companies, you will enter the secondary Company ID and Login ID.
  • On the next screen you have the option to use the “Already have a Pegasus Bank ID?” login to link an additional account.
  • Next, enter the Digital ID/Username that you initially established, the accounts will be linked together under that Digital ID/Username.
  • If you opt in for the feature, for future logins you will be able to choose which company you want to access.

If you are a user with multiple IDs for one company:
  • The first enrollment email will take you through the steps outlined above.
  • For subsequent emails, as a user with access to multiple Login IDs, you will enter the Company ID and secondary Login ID.
  • On the next screen you have the option to use the “Already have a Pegasus Bank ID?” login to link an additional account.
  • Next, enter the Digital ID/Username that you initially established, the Login IDs will be linked together under that Digital ID/Username.
  • If you opt in for the feature, for future logins you will be able to choose which User you want to access.

10. Can the “Don’t ask for codes again while using this browser” feature be enabled with the new login experience?

Yes, this can be enabled. The “remember this browser” feature is tied to the browser that is used during selection of the two-factor authentication (2FA) method. If a brute-force attack, or a login from a different browser is attempted, 2FA prompts will occur and access would not be granted until successfully validated using one of the established 2FA methods. Additionally, users that integrate with Intuit services (QuickBooks Online/QBO/ Express Web Connect) will need to elect this feature for the third-party service to work successfully.

11. Who do I contact if I have additional questions about this upgrade?
Please contact the Treasury Management team at 214-353-3085, via email at [email protected], or via a secure message within the TMS portal.
