Firewalls
Firewalls are an extra level of protection for your home or work computers. Some operating systems provide this service for their customers. If you do not currently have a firewall, it is recommended that you install one to help protect your computer.

First, you can check by looking at the web site address, look for an "s" to follow http (https://). You can also look for an image of a lock in the lower right-hand corner to indicate a secure connection.
Usernames and Passwords
Your user name and passwords are created to protect your personal and financial information. You should treat your user id and password in the same manner you would treat any confidential information. Use the following discretion with your information:
1. Create a user name and password that are random. Social Security Numbers, birthdates or anniversary dates should never be used in creating a user id and password. If possible, select a user name and password that contains both letters and numbers.
